Trisection using mechanical links

Line Motion Trisector

Line Motion Trisector is shown in the figure shown below.

Point E moves along the circle with its center at point O.

Point S moves horizontally along the line OB

Such motion is made possible by two groups of Kempe's links, i.e. ODEF & OHDG.

To create this drawing and animation:
   Load     link_motion.lsp    (load "link_motion")
  Then from command line, type   link_motion
  For a quick look , type   test_motion
